Cathy’s music career is probably as diverse as they come, She grew up in rural Devon, UK, learnt the piano from a very early age and picked up the guitar in her teens. Inspired by artists as diverse as Tracy Chapman, The Shamen, and Elvis Presley her love of music led her on to an ever-developing interest in song writing. She studied for a music degree at Chichester University which stood her in good stead for the diversity of her life and work in music which was to come.

Cathy’s music and talents have taken her from the roof-tops of Shillong in North East India to arenas in Beirut, from village churches in England to stadiums in Argentina, from an orphanage in Romania to Brixton Academy in London. She has toured and played around the world over the last 16 years in Countries including, Russia, Canada, USA, France, Holland, Ukraine and many more. As a result of her enjoyment of a broad cross section of music, Cathy works and performs in several genres. She has released three singer songwriter albums of which she continues to tour, performing both solo, with an acoustic guitar and also with her long-standing band. Her work as a singer songwriter has, amongst others, seen her work with people such as the legendary Elton John producer Gus Dudgeon and probably her favourite song writer of all time Deacon Blue’s Ricky Ross. It’s no secret that Cathy greatly values her own spiritual journey and in 2010 she fulfilled one of her dreams by releasing an album of self-penned Worship music,.

In 2007 Cathy entered the world of Electronic Dance Music. Her vocal talents had been spotted by well-respected Dutch producer Raz Nitzan, who was looking for a specific type of vocal for some collaborations he was working on. Armin Van Buurens ‘Rain’ was the first of these, which became a club favourite around The World. Cathy loved the tracks she was now working on and during her initial two days in Amsterdam recorded three more tracks for Julian Vincent. ‘Here for me’, ’Certainty’, and ‘No end’ all were destined for success. Remixes for these four tracks included the work of Mark Otten, W&W, Cosmic Gate, Andy Prinz, Robert Nickson, M6 and ReLocate, each bringing their own edge and interpretations to the tracks.

These initial tracks and accompanying remixes were picked up and endorsed by DJs, dance music compilations and labels around the world including such names as Armin Van Buuren, ASOT, Dave Pearce, Gatecrasher, Judge Jules, Markus Schulz and were similarly enjoyed by dance music fans everywhere, placing Cathy at the front end of the Vocal Trance scene. More requests were now coming in for vocal collaboration work and Cathy went on to feature on quite a number of dance music releases with Producers and DJ's across the globe including; Omnia, Cosmic Gate, Space Rockerz, John O'Callaghan, Glenn Morrison, Reminder, Simmons & Blanc, Dart Rayne & Yura Moonlight, Chris Schweizer, DNS Project, Ronski Speed, Exminds, Skytech and Faruk Sabanci. Many of these tracks are available on Cathy's EDM compilation album 'Collected' which can be found on iTunes.Cathy's second track with Armin Van Buuren: 'Surrender' earned her a place on the Armin Only Mirage World tour, which visited places such as Argentina, Russia, Ukraine and Beruit as well as Europe. Whilst the steady trickle of dance music releases continues, Cathy felt it was time to start writing towards another singer songwriter album and in January 2014 she started work on her fifth studio album. "Searchlight" was completed in April 2014 and is due for release shortly.
